Our client is a well-established industrial organization operating a large-scale food processing facility, currently strengthening its technical and operational capabilities. The company is seeking a Technical Director to take full ownership of plant performance and drive excellence across all production and engineering functions.

The Role:

This is a senior leadership position with end-to-end responsibility for the technical and manufacturing performance of the plant. You will act as the technical authority, overseeing production, engineering, and infrastructure while driving efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across operations.The role is based in Egypt (industrial zone between Cairo and Alexandria), with full accommodation and mobility support provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire manufacturing function, including production, maintenance, utilities, and environmental systems
• Act as the technical authority of the plant, ensuring operational stability and performance
• Drive process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, OEE, efficiency)
• Oversee quality, food safety, and compliance, ensuring alignment with international standards
• Lead CAPEX planning and execution, including new products, materials, and process improvements
• Manage technical budgets, KPIs, and cost optimization initiatives
• Supervise and develop multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high performance and strong leadership culture
• Ensure high standards in plant reliability, hygiene, and operational excellence

Your Profile:

• Strong background in food processing or FMCG manufacturing environments
• Proven experience in plant leadership or senior technical roles
• Solid understanding of industrial processes, utilities, and plant operations
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, OEE)
• Exposure to CAPEX projects and industrial investments
• Strong leadership capability across multiple teams
• Experience in international or structured environments will be highly valued
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, and operationally driven mindset
