It is a proven industry leader with progressive use of  the new materials and with some excellent performance in surfaces treatment technology with wide industrial application (automotive, industrial etc) .

Their plant in Romania has 20 employees.

Scope of the role

• This role is one that will cover the existing activities as usual but  there is also a plan to build a second plant, if they we can l find the right person to help on this expansion  too
• This new person must enhance the quality of the relations inside and outside the plant
• There are no specific problems to fix withing the production, quality, or logistics but just maintain the business level at higher quality and be open to help the company to grow

Job description

Streamlined function characteristics:

• Responsible for the plant operation and maintenance.
• Establish plant policies and procedures.
• Responsible for plant production goals. Establish and maintain community relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Responsible for:
  • Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe plant.
  • Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for plant production goals.
  • Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
  • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination
  • Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
  • Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews.
  • Schedule and conduct plant meetings.
  • Responsible for the product quality control for the plant.
  • Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
  • Communicate very well inside and outside the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The desired candidate will:

• Have very good communications skills, able to face and deal with stakeholders, able to fulfil the task, responsible, willing to do business development, proactive – could be from automotive, industrial,, metal , steel, coating engineering, preferably with this knowledge – but not mandatory.
• Be technician/engineer – to understand very good to production process as well.
• Be responsible for financial planning, budgets, results … so he/she should be good with numbers
• Able to coordinate a small team composed of Administrative workers, Quality Manager, Sales Referent, production engineer and quality and external admin.firms (legal, accounting etc) 
• Be open to full references checks and meeting in person at final stages of the recruitment

The salary can range from min. 2.000eur net in hand  to a max of 2.500eur net in hand – it will be discussed also according to the candidate level + co car + yearly bonus up to 10.000 EUR TTC (based on three KPI’s (turnover, on-time delivery, quality).
