Plant Manager
Responsibilities:
- The Plant Manager will be accountable for the manufacturing output; he/she will particularly deal with supporting the Global Operation Team as a reliable and proactive Business Partner
- Planning, organizing, managing, and running day-to-day manufacturing operations, by effectively leading the manufacturing management team (production, maintenance, engineering, material handling, product development);
- Ensuring plant compliance with all environmental regulations, laws, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), also genuinely cooperating with Quality Unit and its Qualified Person (QP);
- Being responsible for Safety requirements (L.81);
- Promoting and sharing a culture of continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity, people management and overall performance of the facility;
- Designing and implementing new manufacturing process as well as new equipment’ start-up, as the business and the Corporate Group might require from time to time;
- Being responsible for assigned CAPEX and OPEX, drafting budgets and forecasts and granting variance monitoring and reporting;
- Effectively allocating human, technologic, and economical resources;
- Actively support the HR Department in managing the work force as well as Union relations;
- Providing Management reports to the Group Corporate Functions, when required;
- Implementing initiatives aligned to Group strategy and providing the team with a clear sense of direction and focus;
- Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with employees, by communicating with them about performance expectations as well as by giving useful feedback.
- Determine KPIs and measure them on a regular basis.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- 2 years of experience as Plant Manager or, at least, 5 years of experience as Production Managers in API manufacturing sites;
- Fully proficient in adopting and implementing GMP guidelines as well as HSE law requirements;
- Good communication skills and proven ability to foster and establish effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Master degree in Pharmaceutical technologies, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or similar;
- Fluent in Italian and good command of English.
