Job Description
Our Client is a world-leading manufacturer in the Oil and Gas Industry.
For their growing operations in Viotia, they are searching for a ‘Mechanical Maintenance Manager’ to contribute to the overall maintenance of their production process.
Your responsibilities:
- Follow Health and safety regulations following the company’s policies and standards.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise all Mechanical Maintenance Department activities to optimize plant operations.
- Implement and manage mechanical maintenance systems, overseeing modification and improvement projects for enhanced plant functionality and extended asset life.
- Allocate mechanical maintenance resources efficiently for cost-effective operations and timely repairs.
- Ensure optimal functioning of all mechanical equipment through effective maintenance operations to sustain plant operations.
- Develop and manage the mechanical maintenance budget, facilitating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for cost-effective operations.
- Provide leadership in repairing and installing mechanical systems, ensuring seamless plant operation through daily troubleshooting and resolution.
- Lead capital enhancement studies, prepare feasibility reports, propose technical solutions, and oversee project execution within defined budgets.
- Uphold safety standards within the maintenance department, ensuring compliance with regulations, company policies, and accountability at all levels.
- Design and manage investment projects in mechanical engineering, focusing on reliability enhancement and maintenance cost reduction.
- Offer expertise in troubleshooting plant system issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Supervise contractors and technical crews, ensuring work completion as per specifications, quality, and costs.
- Manage SAP processes, work orders, spare parts, and maintenance records for efficient departmental operations.
- Support maintenance functions during major breakdowns and participate in cost reduction and reliability enhancement initiatives.
- Report equipment/process failures and establish performance goals for subordinates.
- Collaborate with preventive functions to plan repairs, maintain budgets, and prioritize work orders.
- Assist inspectors in predictive measurement analysis and major repair supervision.
- Ensure compliance with laws, safety measures, and quality standards in the Mechanical Department.
- Motivate, guide, further develop, and ensure adequate training of the team to achieve the predetermined objectives.
- Coordinate plant projects with large capital projects to minimize downtime and ensure quality completion.
- Oversee process mechanical upgrades in line with plant objectives and productivity goals.
- Identify suitable mechanical technologies to fulfill diverse process needs.
Your profile:
- Strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering.
- More than 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
