Job Goal

• Development of injection molds, establish molding process meeting productivity & capability requirements.
• Define specifications, evaluate DAP, develop, and establish process line equipment’s to meet target outputs in form of product and process characteristics.
• Evaluate and decide appropriate moulding machines (sizes, types, features) required for FFPL business.
• Develop customized plastic welding processes post moulding.
• Decide and develop retrofits to moulding machines for improvement in performance and efficiency.
• Selection of auxiliaries to work in tandem for moulding machines

Responsibilities

• Product development (Injection molded parts) for new projects & capacity enhancement actions to meet CCPM target for quality, cost and lead time.
• Layout of capital assets and work benches, post operation equipment’s for good material flow with right ergonomics and safety
• Appropriate mechanization
• Plastics processing for necessary product quality, cycle time
• Planning of equipment’s and auxiliaries for efficient functioning

KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of Plastic/ Polymers, Mold making, molding processes & assembly techniques
• Plastic welding processes and secondary operations
• Plastics’ processing with Trouble shooting.
• Knowledge of quality systems - APQP, TS.
• Knowledge of molding machines, benchmarking with costs and durability
