This role focuses on the maintenance and installation of a variety of piping systems within an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair various piping systems including water, steam, oil, gas, and sanitary systems across the plant.
• Handle setups for sprinkler systems, ensuring correct sprinkler head installation and maintaining valves and pressures for optimal operation.
• Perform replacements and repairs on control equipment for heating and cooling systems.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning units, including major component replacements.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on heating, cooling, and wastewater systems, identifying and resolving any operational issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of maintenance experience in an industrial or mechanical trade, or equivalent to Journeyman level.
• Demonstrated ability in using hand tools and pipe-fitting machinery effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in a plumbing or pipefitting role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of mechanical equipment operations.
• Specific experience with piping in an industrial setting.

Success Criteria:

• Proficiency in selecting and assembling the appropriate fittings and efficiently using piping materials.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other machinery as needed in the performance of job duties.
