This is a senior, board-visible opportunity to own and scale a certified pre-owned operation in one of the world's most dynamic and rapidly evolving used-car markets. The UAE's pre-owned automotive sector is undergoing a fundamental shift, and this role sits at the very centre of it.
Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will have full strategic and operational ownership of the certified pre-owned function, from sourcing and reconditioning through to retail, digital integration, and B2B remarketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Commercial Leadership: You will set the strategic direction for the pre-owned operation, defining the sourcing strategy, pricing philosophy, stock-turn targets, and channel mix across retail, B2B, and digital channels. You will own the P&L and be accountable for profitability, volume, and market share growth. Your decisions will be informed by data, driven by commercial instinct, and executed with pace.
Sourcing & Inventory Management: You will build and manage a diversified sourcing operation, including trade-ins, auctions, fleet de-fleeting, corporate disposals, and direct-to-consumer acquisition channels. You will develop the pricing and appraisal frameworks that ensure the business buys right every time, and you will manage stocking levels, ageing inventory, and depreciation exposure with rigour and precision.
Reconditioning & Quality Standards: You will oversee the reconditioning process end-to-end, working closely with workshop and quality teams to ensure vehicles are turned around efficiently and cost-effectively, to a standard that supports both retail margin and customer confidence. You will manage reconditioning economics tightly and continuously look for ways to improve throughput and reduce cost per unit.
Retail & Digital Channel Management You will drive retail performance across physical and digital channels, ensuring the business is well represented on the platforms that matter and that the customer journey from enquiry to handover reflects the highest standards. You will work closely with marketing and digital teams to optimise listings, lead generation, and conversion.
B2B Remarketing & Export You will develop and manage B2B remarketing channels, including trade sales, auction partnerships, and export routes — ensuring that aged or non-retail stock is moved efficiently and at the best achievable return. Knowledge of export trade routes, including African and CIS markets, will be a significant advantage.
Market Intelligence & Pricing You will maintain a live, data-informed view of the market at all times, tracking depreciation trends, competitor pricing, days-to-sale benchmarks, and platform dynamics across the UAE and wider GCC. You will use pricing tools and analytics platforms to keep the business competitively positioned and margin-protected.
Team Leadership & Development You will build and lead a high-performing pre-owned team, setting clear targets, developing talent, and creating a culture of accountability, commercial energy, and continuous improvement. You will be a visible, hands-on leader who sets the standard by example.
Stakeholder & Partner Management You will manage relationships with auction houses, fleet and rental companies, financial institutions, digital platforms, and other key partners — positioning the business as a preferred partner in every channel it operates in.
REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Management, or a related field — an MBA or equivalent is a strong advantage

A minimum of 10 years of progressive automotive experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior used car or pre-owned leadership role

A demonstrable track record of building and running a profitable pre-owned operation — volume, margin, and stock turn metrics you are proud of

Strong commercial and pricing instinct — you understand depreciation, appraisal risk, and margin management at a granular level

Data analytics fluency — experience with pricing platforms, algorithmic valuation tools, and performance reporting is essential

Solid understanding of reconditioning workshop economics and quality control processes

Experience with B2B remarketing channels — auction, trade, and export routes, including Africa and CIS markets, is highly desirable

Familiarity with the UAE's digital automotive marketplace — platforms, consumer behaviour, and listing optimisation

Experience working with or building certified pre-owned programmes is a strong advantage

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Arabic language skills are an advantage — the ability to operate effectively across a multicultural team and customer base is essential
