What is your primary responsibility?
Converting relevant prospects into clients, thereby meeting a booking value for each financial year. This value target would be decided before each financial year, in consultation with the EXECOM and the Marketing team.
What does this role entail?
Planning:
- Mining and Mapping

- Managing opportunities arising from marketing.
Documentation:
- Working with cross-functional team to prepare documents, the scope of work, and costing for any proposal submission.
- Managing distribution data and priorities
- Responding in time to the document’s requests from prospects, distributers, affiliates

- Case studies
- References
- Proposals
- Cost Workings
- Follow up on the closure documentation
- Approve mails
- Contacting
- Complete the negotiating and contracting process for each successful closure and the requisite documentation for each.
- Preparing and analysing the sales data and funnel status for weekly review with management
Target & Achieve:
- Help achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales process.
- Doing a monthly and quarterly update with Executive committee member of the organisation.
Manage customer relationship:
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycles.
Who are you?
- You would have spent 8 to 10 years in pre-sales or business development and would have dealt with CXO level clients
- You need to have clear written & verbal communication skills
- You will be a well-organized individual with high commitment to deadlines
- You should be having very good listening skills and your inclination to work with people and understand their points of view must be high
- You will be open to new learnings and must be self-driven (willingness to not give up)
What will you know already?
- You will be well-versed with business development protocols, writing proposal, managing a CRM tool of some kind and MS Office
- You can analyse business performance information. (Balance Sheet, P&L and MIS)
