Salary90.000Eur gross/year + bonusLocationBucharestIndustryInformation TechnologyJob DescriptionThis role is instrumental in our client's transformation and journey from a traditional product architecture toward a modern, cloud-native, and hyper-scalable solution with a delightful user experience. The role is based in Bucharest and requires strong communication and collaboration skills as well as hands-on coding.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an Architect with a proven track record of designing large-scale, distributed, highly available, fault-tolerant systems in multi-cloud environments across geographically distributed data centers
- Broad technology expertise including Docker, Kubernetes, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Hands-on development experience in managed or unmanaged programming languages (preferably Java or C)
- Experience in developing Services Orientated Architectures (SOA), WebServices (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC), microservices, and API design patterns
- Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPs, FTP/FTPs, etc.)
- Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers
- Strong presence and excellent communication skills with a technical focus
Job Description:
- You will be part of an Agile team with a strong customer focus
- You will work with the management team to define technical strategy, design the cloud platform solution and drive the cloud optimization topics (TCO, High Availability, and Resilience)
- You will evaluate new technologies and implement proof-of-concept for proposed solutions, such as to demonstrate the fulfillment of key requirements around integration, availability, and performance
- You will be involved in design, estimation, coding, testing, documentation, and delivery
- You will build an adequate physical environment and infrastructure with the help of the CloudOps team.
- You will act as a technical guardian of our solutions to ensure product performance, scalability, and supportability (maintainability, reusability, scalability, availability)
Nice to haves and pluses:
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or equivalent.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis) and in-memory data grids (Apache Ignite).
- Full-stack experience with Web Applications including Frontend Frameworks (ReactJS) and Backend Services (Jersey).
- Familiarity with EAI patterns and queuing systems (JMS, IBM WebSphere MQ).
- Experience in developing and driving SOA strategies within large enterprises.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid deployments.
- Experience implementing Continuous Delivery in a multi-platform environment from the ground up
- Exposure to EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, AS2, AS4)
- Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, profiling, and bottleneck analysis
