Principal Consultant
Los Angeles, USA /Remote

Our client has an impressive international track record in providing seamless support to customers through large-scale IT projects in finance, manufacturing, telecommunications, automobiles, government agencies by building bridges between business management and IT solutions with latest technologies such as AI, cyber-security, RPA Support. Our client has already established a growing presence in the USA and is looking to accelerate that growth by recruiting exceptional talent.
The role
As a Principal Consultant you will develop and support the client base across the US where the main responsibilities include managing the delivery of mainstream IT services such as implementation of software systems and system integrations, as well as developing and executing business development strategies to acquire new consulting projects.
You will be responsible for expanding the client base through your network and market knowledge, acquiring new clients and incremental projects, participating in consulting projects, and assigning new employees or subcontractors. As a Principal Consultant, you will be given the opportunity to review business expansion strategies while working with our board members in Japan and other member of the sales team.
Key responsibilities
Short-term
- Acquiring IT consulting and system integration projects, leveraging your network and connections.
- Assigning consultants and engineers to projects, creating new, unique consulting solutions.
- Preparing proposal documents for clients, negotiating terms and conditions, and planning sales strategies.
Mid-term
- Co-interviewing candidates for new US positions with internal recruitment resources and organizing training programs.
- Supporting internal corporate systems.
Long-term
- Representing other US branches or offices abroad.
Qualifications
- 2+ consecutive years of experience as a partner/director/principal-level consultant, managing consulting projects at a major consulting firm such as Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, IBM, etc. within the past 10 years.
- A proven track record of winning 5+ consulting projects while working for a major consulting or IT service firm.
- Experience with business development, business planning and project management.
- A desire to expand business by using your own network.
- Excellent communication skills.
