Role & responsibilities:

• Enhance the platform via development of new features, APIs, or code improvements
• Work with a team of backend, frontend, and infrastructure engineers to build highly scalable, secure microservices
• Perform code reviews, and write documentation
• Investigating / Reproducing / Resolving issues – Debugging or triaging

Candidate requirements:

• 8+ years in using open-source components including Hibernate, Spring Framework, Spring model-view-controller (MVC), log4j to create complex software solutions
• 8+ years in Spring Boot
• 8+ years in front end development like JavaScript, HTML5, HTML, jQuery, JSP, CSS, JSON, AJAX, NodeJS and Angular JS
• 6 years’ experience on PL/SQL, Oracle
• 4 years’ experience on ELK stack (Elastic Search/ LogStash/ Kibana)
• 6 years of experience on Linux
• Experience in CI\CD such as jenkins and github/svn
• Familiarity with microservices, containers, and modern CI/CD deployment processes
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
• Versatile self-starter with an eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership
• A startup and self-starter mindset – the ability to juggle multiple projects, mentor other engineers, and advocate for tools and processes to improve our developer experience.
• Ability to provide innovative technical suggestions & propose solutions
• Experience in using JIRA, Agile methodology, GitHub
• Document and maintain all design documents and involve in review process
• Need to have good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Good to have - Experience on Shell scripting, Working knowledge on Kafka
