Principal Engineer of GDL Development

Location: Vancouver (Canada)

Salary: highly attractive package

The candidate will be responsible for
1.    Carrying out the selection and development of GDL according to the SOR of the membrane electrode, and formulate the development plan, test plan of the GDL to meet the product design requirements and achieve the achievement of product indicators.
2.    Leading the team to develop the MPL layer and to carry out the failure analysis of GDL, while establishing the material evaluation system and evaluation method.
3.    Technical docking and cooperation with GDL suppliers to obtain cutting-edge GDL raw materials.
4.    Organizing and solving material technical problems in the development and production process.
5.    Leading the team to carry out the technical benchmarking of GDL raw materials and support the formulation of product technical routes.

Qualifications:
PhD degree and more than 10 years’ experience in the development of GDL, and in particular:
- a background in proton exchange membrane fuel cells, 
- familiar with the preparation process and testing methods of membrane electrodes, with the application of physical and chemical characterization equipment and material characterization methods.
