Role: Backend Engineering (AI/ML) (Sr Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, Principal Engineer / Tech Lead)

Experience: 6yrs to 12yrs

Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of Data Scientists to design proven system architectures that will deliver low-latency and highly-scalable AI systems

• Contribute to the design and development of new features and subsystems in the company’s AI systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 6 years’ experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years’ experience.

• Played a key role in the software development life cycle of a production system - interpreting requirements, working with others to design solutions, deployment, and monitoring.

• Proficient in Java - developed high-quality production code backed by unit tests, meaningful class hierarchies, multi-threaded systems, and addressing performance issues.

• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes and deploying containerized software

• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.• Ability to independently perform a root-cause analysis and propose solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 6 years’ experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.

• Experience in SQL or ElasticSearch - developed optimized queries that were productized.

• Knowledge of big data processing frameworks like Spark/Scala is an added bonus.

• Knowledge of AI/ML is an added bonus.
