This role requires an experienced professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and an exceptional ability to orchestrate seamless, unforgettable group experiences while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, solicit, negotiate, and close high-end group and event business and full buyouts (including celebrations, i.e. weddings and birthday parties), focusing on luxury corporate and private clientele across key global markets, including North America, Continental Europe, UK, Latin America, and Asia.
- Manage the full cycle of group sales and event coordination, from initial inquiry and proposal through to event execution and follow-up, ensuring impeccable standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Events, Revenue Management, Operations, and Marketing to tailor offers and experiences that meet client needs and reflect brand values.
- Respond promptly and professionally to RFPs and client requests, preparing detailed proposals and contracts.
- Represent the properties at industry trade shows, corporate events, and networking functions to generate leads and enhance market presence.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details within CRM and reporting systems.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform proactive sales tactics and group business development.
- Report regularly to the Associate Director of Sales on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications and client interactions reflect the luxury standards and culture of the properties.
- Travel extensively to meet clients, attend relevant industry events, and support operations by traveling between the properties.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ultra-luxury hospitality sales, with a strong focus on groups and events.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex group bookings and projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Fluency in English is required; other languages (such as Italian and French) are a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time).
- Knowledge of the luxury hospitality and events market, with a client-focused and proactive approach.
