This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining continuous operation, enhancing efficiency, and implementing continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and management for major plant assets, ensuring optimal performance in terms of output, material, and energy usage while adhering to product specifications.
• Develop and maintain a robust process for data collection, auditing, and preventive maintenance to swiftly identify and correct deviations.
• Utilize RCA, 5 Whys, and other systematic approaches like JM Solve-It or Keppner/Tregoe to address issues.
• Lead efforts to enhance process efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce the cost of poor quality.
• Regularly review and potentially adjust raw material specifications based on performance analysis to achieve desired improvements.
• Create and manage standard operating procedures and control processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Available for non-standard hours including after-hours call responsibilities, capable of managing entire production lines, and working closely with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Exhibits a team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collective goals and the flexibility needed to achieve them.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Continuously analyze production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to improve overall safety and operational performance.
• Define and adjust process set points for various product types and establish corresponding management tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial continuous process manufacturing, with an additional 2 years of experience in troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
