Process Engineering Lead
Company
A leading automotive manufacturing company working on thermal management products such as heat exchangers, radiators, oil coolers, and EGR systems.Role Overview
Responsible for process development, plant expansion, and manufacturing improvement. Focus on productivity, efficiency, and scalable manufacturing systems.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes
- Layout planning and line setup
- Handle Capex projects (machine selection, installation, commissioning)
- Improve cycle time, line balancing, and productivity
- Prepare SOP, PFMEA, Control Plans
- Support APQP / PPAP for new product development
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Lead a small team
- Drive automation and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience in automotive manufacturing
- Knowledge of TIG / Spot Welding / Vacuum Brazing
- Experience in sheet metal / stamping / stainless steel
- Strong process engineering and shopfloor experience
Qualification & Experience
- BE/B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial)
- 10–12+ years of experience
