The Role

Process engineer and safety

• Gives hands-on problem solving and maintenance of equipment problems based on data analysis in order to achieve customer reliability objectives 
• Recommend and confers with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings are recommendations
• Participates with operations, maintenance, engineering and others in developing and implementing work process improvements activities
• Supports all activities in order to take out technical data sheet
• Tracks necessary metrics to identify improvements opportunities, trends, and ensure needs are met
• Prepares PSSR in according new project and or maintenance activities under MOC / HAZOP management
• Works with EHS department in order to develop, push and complete internal department action plan regarding EHS issue
• Keeps technical archive under control (with the planner supervisor)
• Key role to complete all activities regarding the implementation of MI, MOSS, PF standard and reliability program
• Performs Process Safety – related activities
• Manage and conduct the HAZOP program, as well as track and assist with any resulting recommendations
• Supervise the application of Process Safety elements as per project development stages
• Perform risk analysis and coach others on the use of risk analysis techniques
• Provide project support, including support for process engineering to the full development of process packages, application of modelling software, and design of relief devices
• Collaborate with teams to discover and implement long-term process improvement efforts
• Perform audit of process safety management systems and execute risk mitigation corrective actions

Personal Attributes

• Master Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5 to 7 years experience in complex chemical/pharmaceutical plants (experience in Seveso plants is a plus)
• Good English knowledge
• Autocad knowledge
