Our client is a global manufacturer of industrial valves for demanding service applications, offering a broad range of process valves and actuators for clients.

Process Engineer

The job holder will be accountable for manufacturing process development projects as part of the engineering team dealing with special industrial valves produced for the Chemical, Pharmacy and Energy sector.

The job holder would be a part of a cohesive engineering team being responsible for process improvement projects, including work cell configuration, assembly methods, product quality issues.

Discovery and implementation of cost reduction activities using Lean manufacturing principles are included.

Major tasks:

1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor of assigned engineering projects with the support of the CNC technicians;
2. Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process, advise on corrective actions;
3. Ensure projects are completed on time;
4. Optimizes work station layout, equipment justification, specification and installation;
5. Assists with the introduction of new products in operations;
6. Supports and implements Lean Manufacturing techniques;
7. Performs data analysis to assess process capability and implement improvements

Requirements:

1. Engineering degree
2. Process or industrial engineering experience in manufacturing;
3. Experience in metal processing is a strong plus;
4. Experience in project management is a strong plus;
5. Fluent English, native Hungarian;
6. Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability;
7. Effective and professional communication and organization skills;
8. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, ergonomic principles, and classic industrial engineering principles;
9. Strong presentation, teamwork and coaching skills.
