MAIN RESPONSABILITIES OF PROCESS TECHNOLOGIST ROLE
Job purpose: Organizes, coordinates and monitors the production process flows and operations within Company factory. Contributes to the development of best practices, routines and innovation solutions with the aim of improving production results and product quality so that the production processes run in the optimal way within the set quality, hygiene and safety standards.
- Responsible for analyzing and optimizing existing manufacturing processes, equipment and installations;
- Initiates, develops and implements (new/improved) technology processes and standards in production locations;
- Tracks deviations from standards and ensures compliance to quality standards;
- Supports and executes trouble shouting and route-cause analysis (e.g. in case of complaints, quality or process deviations);
- Provides advice focused on safety, quality, efficiency to improve the production process, techniques and procedures;
- Improves the registration and update of technological knowledge by Standard Operation Procedures, process descriptions and project reports;
- Proposes modifications and projects for process improvement;
- Provides expertise in investment projects and coordinates the implementation in production;
- Advises on quality aspects when purchasing new and / or replacing existing equipment;
- Creates and maintains technology standards, guidelines and work instructions for operators;
- Optimizes the nature, frequency and method for analysis of raw materials and end products;
- Gathers and registers the data related to processing (deviations / adjustments);
- Ensures the application of robust processes, in particular by properly applying the systematics of clearance, change management and deviation management;
Candidate profile:

- University degree (Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology or similar)
- 5 years’ experience in dairy industry
- Knowledge of technological processes in food industry
- Ability to deal with multiple projects at same time and to mobilize other team members
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Structured, analytical, able to predict and evaluate
- Well organized, with good project management skills.
