This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a growing automotive brand in Dubai, leading procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and cost management in a complex, fast-moving operational environment.
Based in Dubai, you will be the driving force behind smarter sourcing, stronger supplier partnerships, and a procurement function that genuinely supports the business in achieving its commercial objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement Strategy & Planning: You will develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with the business's operational needs, growth plans, and cost targets. You will manage the full procurement cycle — from needs assessment and supplier identification through to negotiation, contracting, and delivery — ensuring consistency, efficiency, and value at every stage.
Supplier Sourcing & Relationship Management You will identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across vehicles, parts, accessories, and indirect categories — building a supplier base that is reliable, competitive, and aligned with the business's quality standards. Managing and nurturing those relationships over time, including regular performance reviews and contract renewals, will be central to your success.
Cost Management & Negotiation You will lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, securing the best possible terms on pricing, payment, lead times, and service levels without compromising on quality or supply continuity. You will track and report on cost savings, procurement KPIs, and budget performance regularly.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination Working closely with operations, warehouse, and logistics teams, you will ensure that stock levels are optimised, lead times are managed proactively, and supply chain disruptions are anticipated and mitigated before they affect the business. You will develop contingency sourcing plans for critical categories.
Compliance & Governance: You will ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in line with company policies, UAE regulatory requirements, and international trade compliance standards. You will maintain accurate procurement records, manage contracts diligently, and support internal and external audit processes as required.
Market Intelligence You will stay closely informed on automotive parts pricing trends, new supplier developments, import regulations, and market dynamics across the UAE and GCC — using those insights to keep the procurement function ahead of the curve and the business competitively positioned.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with finance, sales, aftersales, warehouse, and logistics teams — acting as a trusted internal partner who understands the broader business and procures in ways that support it effectively.
