Junior Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement process within the company. They work closely with relevant departments to ensure the supply of raw materials, equipment, and services necessary for production.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, organizing, designing, implementing, and controlling procurement activities for the assigned product/service range.
• Developing the monthly procurement plan based on the raw material requirements from the logistics/production planning department.
• Managing supplier databases – identifying, analyzing, and evaluating suppliers, requesting and negotiating offers, signing and executing contracts with suppliers.
• Analyzing supplier services in terms of quality, price, and financial conditions.
• Monitoring raw material and finished product stocks to prevent shortages or excess.
• Collaborating with internal departments to identify procurement needs and develop efficient procurement strategies.
• Managing raw material and material transportation activities for the portfolio of suppliers.
• Contributing to cost optimization and procurement operation efficiency.
• Handling customs formalities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Higher education, preferably in a technical field.
• Advanced knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of procurement and competition-related legislation and regulations.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Good communication, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
• Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
