Our client is looking for a Procurement Specialist who would be responsible for the European Supply Chain, this would suit an experienced buyer who is looking for the next step in their career, competitive package and hybrid working
In this role you will be responsible and accountable for the supply chain function for Europe whilst working within the the framework of the global corporate procurement processes and strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced buyer to step up into a role with more operational procurement responsibility and global interaction with corporate supply chain strategy
* Key contact within the company for all supply chain activities including sourcing, pricing and understanding market trends
* Ensuring continual compliance with company policies
* Monitoring product cost, ensuring predicable spend while meeting budget targets
* Maintaining tight working relationships with contract manufactures to support supply chain activities to ensure best costs and lead times are met to ensure profitable products being manufactured on time
* Working on new project costings to support new product introduction and meeting marketing target pricing
* Day to day operational responsibility for purchasing activities including component shortage, scheduling and pricing support for ongoing production
Looking for candidates who have good knowledge of SAP or a similar package. Proven experience of securing cost savings and maintaining costs within and electronic environment, bills of materials and at least 5 years experience within a supply chain role
