THE ROLE

Procurement Specialist - Protected Category 68/99

The person will be responsible for:

• Manage negotiations, procurement and strategy necessary to ensure a reliable supply of high quality raw materials, optimizing the T.C.O. (Total Cost of Ownership);
• Manage relationships with current suppliers and acquire new ones;
• Know very well the technical and productive characteristics of the product to be treated;
• Supporting the procurement team and the Global Procurement Director in the management of the activities;
• Collaborate with the different business functions ( Supply Chain, Commercials - Sales, Marketing, Product Management) in order to achieve the best result;

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Technical Degree (preferably in Engineering);
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the roles of supplying or supply chain, matured preferably in structured multinationals of the chemical/plastic field;
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken);
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Ability to solve problems and work in a team.
