Key Responsibilities
• Maintains awareness of industry, competition, health care and economic trends and their impact on franchise short-term and long-term business plans adjusting plans as needed to reflect market conditions;
• Identifies new business opportunities and accounts by developing and leveraging relationships with academic and research institutions and Key Opinion Leaders, as well as influential administrative & economic decision makers;
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business by developing a strong relationship with major accounts seeking to leverage profitable business ventures;
• Works in close cooperation with the sales teams in developing and maintaining working relationships with the economic buyer in their region’s key accounts;
• Responsible for integrating new products and services into existing deals;
• Provides field/remote clinical support in the areas of supporting case coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products;
• Attend cases face to face/ remotely with our customer and advise physicians on clinical attributes / techniques associated with our products;
• Ensure timely collection, reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to our procedural device operation;
• Responsible for technical support and coordination during scientific sessions and meetings conducted by channel partners;
• Identifies key uncertainties and questions to be resolved about the local market and local customers;
• Ensures consistency and alignment across product strategies in the local market as well as with the global strategy;
• Collaborates with internal colleagues, e.g. HEMA, HS&P, legal and compliance, customers and external stakeholders, to understand the legislation and regulatory environment and its impact on customers;
• Uses market and competitor insights to create clear strategic account plans to meet customers ’long-term needs;
• Develops insight into the regional/national healthcare ecosystem (as applicable). Scans the healthcare environment for emerging customer trends.
Key Requirements
• Higher education (biomedical engineering degree, scientific degree or technical will be an asset);
• 5+ years of proven experience in a sales management, ideally in MedTech industry;
• Experience in the distribution of medical devices;
• Fluency in English and local language;
• Ability to influence & engage other in impactful communication;
• Strong data management, analytical & strategic thinking and working style, coupled with entrepreneurial vision;
• Market & Competitor Knowledge: understanding how trends and likely changes will affect customers;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel is a must;
• Ability to work with various multinational, internal and external stakeholders and achieve results on time and within budget;
• Strong team leader, time management skills, confident, compliant, vigilant, result-oriented, give-and-search feedback skills.
