Job Description
Product Manager – Holidays
Location: Pune (WFO)
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development Ideate, propose & assist in the product development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, and launch of holiday-related features with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Market Research Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends (including travel behavior, seasonal demand, OTA benchmarks), and competitive insights to inform product strategy.
- eCommerce Optimization Drive product decisions that enhance conversion rates, improve funnel metrics, and support merchandising strategies for holiday packages.
- Data Analysis — Analyze user behavior, booking trends, and customer feedback using data tools to uncover actionable insights and optimize the product roadmap.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner with engineering, design, operations, content, and marketing teams to deliver products that meet business objectives and delight customers.
- User Experience Testing — Lead or participate in UX research and usability testing, focusing on user journey improvements specific to online travel bookings.
- Documentation — Maintain detailed documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and product roadmaps.
- Project Management — Support and/or lead agile ceremonies, prioritization efforts, delivery timelines, and cross-team coordination.
Additional Skill Sets
Domain Expertise:
- Understanding of travel domain (preferably holidays or OTA experience), including supplier integrations, package creation, pricing strategies, and operations workflows.
- Experience in eCommerce platforms — driving engagement, retention, and monetization through A/B testing, personalization, and campaign-led product changes.
Technical:
- Product Management tools (Jira, Confluence or similar)
- Basic technical know-how, Prototyping/Wireframing (Figma, Balsamiq, etc.)
- SEO / SEM fundamentals
- Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Tag Manager
- Experience with marketing automation tools (WebEngage, MoEngage or similar)
- Google Sheets/Excel (intermediate to advanced), basic scripting & SQL
Analytical:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to funnel performance and customer drop-off analysis.
