Salary~€48,000 - €60,000 gross/yr + benefitsLocationBucharest, RomaniaIndustryPackaging and ContainersJob DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and stress-resistant Production Manager to oversee our client’s large-volume, nonstop production operations in Bucharest. The ideal candidate will manage three production shifts with approximately 150 Employees, ensure efficient and smooth operations, maintain high standards of quality, and meet production targets.Production is a high-volume type.Main Scope of the role is to find a very good people manager, who can drive to highest efficiency levels and a very dynamic and proactive personality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all production activities across three shifts, ensuring continuous operation and efficiency.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of production staff, providing guidance and support to shift supervisors.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet targets and deadlines, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality control measures.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and present production reports, analyzing performance data and making recommendations for improvements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing setting industries preferred in one of those: beverages, steel, chemical/plastics/pets, automotive, packaging.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing. Business Administration, or a related field post grad is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle stress and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position based in Bucharest. English language at a conversational level is important
- Ability to work long/flexible hours to oversee three production shifts.
- Occasional travel may be required.
