PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR based in Cluj Napoca

 

 

Operational (short term):

People:

• Ensure that safety guidelines are being adhered and followedup by the staff
• Ensure that 5S and lean manufacturing processes are adhered and followedup by the staff
• Ensure that daily capacity is installed
• Ensure that staff is being trained and sufficiently guided in their work
• Ensure that staff is fitfor-duty, daily absence is monitored

 

Profit & Loss:

• Management reporting on productivity and efficiency, safety
• Ensure that training budget is being met
• Ensure that motivation budget is being met (not exceeded and well invested)
• Ensure that department budget is being met

 

Products:

• Ensure that production planning is being realized according to internal standards on quality, costs, and production time.
• Ensure that (internal) quality standards are being met
• Ensure that the ERP system is filled with all required information

 

Processes:

• Ensure sufficient tooling available for your staff (certified and meeting internal safety guidelines)
• Ensure all processes are defined as per (internal) safety & quality standards
• Apply 5S and lean manufacturing to internal production processes efficient and effective design of the production process

 

Projects:

• Ensure sub deadlines of production projects are being met
• Followup on actions as defined in the Production operational calendar/Production action list

 

 

Tactic-operational (mid-term):

People:

• Look forward on planning to adhere to any changes if required
• Upscaling/downscaling of installed production capacity
• Define training requirements for staff
• Management of individual performance and individual reward (compensation & benefits)
• Apply performance management indicators/models within the Production Unit

 

Profit & Loss:

• Initiate and execute cost improvements
• Define investments for the upcoming calendar year
• Define midterm training investments
• Management reporting on department KPI's as defined in annual sector Production Plan

Products:

• Defines the required information to produce orders and
• Liaise actively with key stakeholders to ensure the department is been given with the required production guidelines and actively deliver feedback on the quality of the information

Processes:

• Review processes and adjust if required within the limits of the internal standards on quality & safety.
• Seek advice and feedback from the (key) stakeholders on suggested adjustments.
• Give feedback on processes in ERP software, ensure that the process remains efficient and effective.

Projects:

• Define annual department plan as per AmbaFlex annual department plan template
• Define cost reduction projects
• Define projects on health & safety
• Manage 'continuous improvement' projects
• Prioritize Production projects

Required skills and competencies:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (mechanical engineering)
• A minimum of 5 years professional experience in a technical environment
• A minimum 3 years in managing production teams
• Experience in Production planning, organizing, coordination
• A proven track record of production improvement projects and operational excellence
• English fluent, mandatory
