About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to drive exciting new product development in automotive ECUs, controllers, and sensors — from concept to mass production — delivering innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role demands strong technical expertise, proactive leadership, and exceptional project management skills to ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Ownership

• Lead complete lifecycle of NPD projects from product kick-off to successful mass production.

• Ensure all customer milestones, quality standards, and timelines are met without compromise.

2. Development Management

• Oversee ECU, controller, and sensor development aligned with automotive industry processes.

• Maintain and track Master Development Plans (MDP) for each project.

• Provide key technical insights and costing inputs to support decision-making.

3. Status Tracking & Reviews

• Conduct regular Cross-Functional Team (CFT) reviews and gate reviews.

• Prepare and circulate detailed status reports and Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) to all stakeholders.

• Highlight critical issues early to ensure swift resolution.

4. Escalation & Risk Management

• Identify risks or delays that may impact delivery commitments.

• Work with functional heads to implement corrective measures.

• Escalate unresolved issues to top management and conduct weekly/fortnightly review meetings.

5. Customer Interface

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial discussions with customers.

• Coordinate internally with engineering, marketing, and other functions to ensure seamless support.

• Document and share MOMs for all customer meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field.

• Proven track record in managing automotive electronics NPD projects.

• Strong knowledge of ECU, controller, and sensor development processes.

• Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
