General Objective:
The project development leader (PDL) position will focus on developing and executing the different types of supply chain improvement projects including, product innovation, capital expense, COGS improvement. This will be measured by learning curve achievement development, launch execution, and post launch evaluation.
This role will build and manage relationships of all stakeholders within the supply chain organization to effectively implement project initiatives that drive productivity results, optimize value, and promote growth.
Requirements:
- Bacherlor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of project management experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects at one time.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Food manufacturing and plant production line (Is a Plus).
- Lean knowledge standard work processes, budget planning and process improvement are essential qualities.
- Certificate in Project Management (PMI) is a Plus.
Responsabilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the Supply chain organization. Ensure all are delivered on-time, on-budget and on-strategy.
- Ensure teams meet milestone, critical business, and implementation dates..
- Measure and publish team performance, project status, and metrics. Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks. Facilitate decision-making, arbitrate impasses, remove barriers to drive project progress.
- Champion evolution of PDT process, along with the PMO and maintain project timelines, identifying commercialization risks to adjust as appropriate.
- Utilizes MS Project or similar tool to develop project schedules with a focus on the critical path.
