Our client is one of the largest resin-based flooring company. They need a Project Engineer for their operation in Hungary who would report directly to local Country Manager.

Tasks:

1. Develop strong working relationships with each partner, to gain trust/credibility for repeat or additional work;
2. Build relationships with general constructor’s team and subcontractors;
3. Communicate with builder throughout project to ensure satisfaction;
4. Value engineer products/services in order to meet budget requirements;
5. Ensure proper materials are pulled from stock and/or ordered, including all sundries to complete the job;
6. Work closely with headquarter on arrival dates of material, to fit timeline requests;
7. Review site conditions, should problems be noticed, create solutions to best fit project;
8. Work with installation manager and /or subcontractors in relation to scheduling of jobs, assignment of cuts, and assistance in selection of skill level to ensure customer satisfaction;
1. Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants;
10. Ensure that work is carried out in compliance to approved Safety Codes;
11. Ensure QA/QC Compliance on finished floor;
50. Assist in preparation of engineering project proposals;
1000. Budget monitoring and trend tracking.

Requirements:

1. Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline;
2. 3+ years engineering experience in a construction environment;
3. Strong change management skills and experience with all levels of the organization, to influence and get buy-in while maintaining relationships;
4. Native Hungarian, advanced English;
5. Demonstrated experience of delivering projects on time and to budget;
6. Good computer skills;
7. Effectively prioritise workload;
8. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, installers and sub-contractors;
1. Valid Driver’s License.
