Hiring for a Project Lead – Insurance Applications for one of India’s biggest Insurance Broking providers

Their value-driven offerings encompass the entire lifecycle, right from risk profiling to claims administration for customers, for close to 2 decades. They are a Total Insurance Risk Solutions provider, playing an integral role in the Risk Management portfolio of their customers, offering solutions and services covering direct insurance broking in Life and Non-Life businesses and composite broking for Reinsurance, for both commercial and retail segments. They are a joint venture of one of India’s biggest business conglomerates with a massive footprint in the Insurance and FS space and one of the biggest Insurance providers of the globe.
Role details:
- Title / Designation: Project Lead – Applications
- Reporting Manager: Head of IT
- Location: Mumbai
Role & responsibilities:
- Manage applications and SDLC projects
- Work with the business teams on requirements elicitation
- Work with vendor teams to build applications and to implement changes
- Lead the SIT for the deliveries
- Support / guide the business team for the UAT
Candidate requirements:
- Experience of 7 to 9 years in application development and change, across the SDLC, including the recent 2+ years in leading projects, end to end
- Ability to manage .Net applications
- Experience in working with vendor team on application development and change management
- Knowledge of SQL queries, cloud setup and networking
- BFSI (especially Insurance) experience highly preferable
