Hiring for a Program Manager – Insurance Applications, for one of India’s biggest Insurance Broking providers

Our client is one of India’s biggest Insurance broking companies and they excel in providing innovative, cost-effective, customized solutions, based on understanding the customers’ insurance needs and risk profiles, through multiple channels, including online. They are a Total Insurance Risk Solutions provider, playing an integral role in the Risk Management portfolio of its customers, offering solutions and services covering direct insurance broking in Life and Non-Life businesses and composite broking for Reinsurance, for both commercial and retail segments. Their technology solutions encompass applications across the entire Insurance Broking ecosystem and span core Insurance software and digital solutions, including MPoS (Mobile Point of Sales and Services).
Role details:
· Title / Designation: Program Manager / Applications Owner – Insurance
· Reporting Manager:
· Location: Mumbai
Role & responsibilities:
· Program-managing multiple Insurance software applications and associated teams, owning and managing delivery planning, execution, monitoring (KPIs / metrics), control and reporting, end-to-end
· Working with cross-functional internal and vendor teams (comprising business, IT, and other functions), on complex requirements/changes required in the applications and for evaluation of new applications and solutions options, addressing base-lined, alternative, and exceptional workflows, including impact analysis and solution review, project deliveries, SLA management
· Complying with prescribed IT governance frameworks and processes (including audit and compliance) and ensuring that proposed solution architectures fit the defined overall technical architecture
· Getting the SIT done for the deliverables and supporting/guiding the business teams for the UAT
· Coordinating with the infrastructure/production teams, for application setup/go-live
Candidate requirements:
· 10 to 12 years of experience in managing digital technology applications and projects, preferably in the Insurance domain
· 5+ years of recent experience in project/program leadership
· Demonstrable level of Insurance domain knowledge
