Job Description
Project Manager (Automotive)
Majior tasks:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage the work of a cross-domain project team including engineering team, subcontractors and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment;
- Being the first point of contact, act as advocate for customers and their requirements and validating project solutions;
- Plan, budget, and secure resources for assigned projects;
- Deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and to required quality standards;
- Manage risks, issues, and compliance requirements across projects;
- Proactively resolve conflicts and escalate issues appropriately;
- Communicate roles, tasks, expectations, and accountabilities clearly and consistently to team members;
- Collaborate across functions and organizational boundaries to drive improvements and resolve escalated challenges;
- Document and share project lessons learned to support continuous improvement;
- Support all stages of the project management lifecycle, leveraging appropriate tools and techniques to produce performance, budget, and schedule reports;
- Track project progress, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
Elvárások:
- Relevant degree in Engineering or related technical field;
- Experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 supplier preferred) and knowledge of project management, quality assurance, product or process development;
- High level of organizational, methodological, and social skills;
- Fluent in Hungarian and English;
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a hands-on approach and team orientation;
- Proficient in office software and production systems (e.g., SAP, MS Office, Code Beamer….).
- Strong expertise in project, program, and resource management.
- Experience with methodologies including LEAN,
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate projects, programs, and business cases
