Our client is based out of India but has operations in the USA and Europe, this role that they are hiring for will have to work with a client in Portugal.The client's platform provides courseware development and content across the entire lifecycle of digital product development, SaaS-based content hosting and delivery platform design and development, technical solutions, web and mobile application development, testing and maintenance, and talent development. We provide engineering services. Customers developing new digital products, from e-books to simulations to online courseware.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible to ensure that each of the programme squads have clear plans and roadmaps for their respective activities.
- You will ensure that each sprint starts/end on time with clear, measurable deliverables and that these timebound activities support the programmes vision.
- Assist with the co-ordination of the programme to ensure that each of the individual project teams are working towards the overall goals by delivering success in ‘bite-size-chunks against agreed timelines
- Planning & running review meetings with Scrum Masters (outside of Sprint cadence)
- Completion of weekly, fortnightly & monthly reporting against the teams you have responsibility for
- You will be required to support the Agile teams through the lifecycle of the projects within a matrix environment with a proactive approach to managing issues, risks & dependencies
- You may be required to be flexible with your working hours dependent upon the requirements of the projects and time zones of various programme/project stakeholders
- You must ensure that all company policies are adhered to and that specific duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to all customers and colleagues.
- You will ultimately ensure that projects are delivered to pre-determined timescales, within budget and with effective change management procedures in place
- Lead stakeholder engagement to ensure adoption of change management into project delivery plans whilst constantly gathering feedback to understand business priorities and their impact
- You will be responsible for supporting and working closely with c5-8 Programme Delivery Teams to help run RAID, reporting, governance etc
Requirements:
- 8+ Years of relevant experience
- Engineering background from IT or Software Industry
- Should managed global teams (Diversified team members from India, US, and UK)
- Managed large volume projects
- Managing stakeholders - Client Management
- Reporting to VP of Program Management
- Candidate should be from Portugal or from Spain or Poland and inclined to travel on a need basis.
- Clear & demonstrable expertise of Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence etc)
- Ability to multi-task across various stakeholders & groups without losing focus
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills capable of building & maintaining strong relationships
- Experience driving organisational behaviour based on OKRs
Key Performance Indicators
- Co-ordination with all project & programme team members so workflow remains on schedule
- Ensure project risks are raised, tracked, and escalated where appropriate
- Reviewing project & programmes performance increased opportunities & efficiencies
- Completion of programme status reports to Leadership Team and wider business partners
- Successful deployment of projects & activities in accordance with the programmes Roadmap
- Each squad has a clear purpose, mission statement and is set-up to succeed
