The key duties of this role encompass:

Actively participate in shaping the strategic and transformational roadmap for the department.

Collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) to conduct thorough business case analyses for each initiative.

Define the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for projects, craft project charters (technical project documentation), and ensure the diligent tracking of project deliverables. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and priorities in coordination with the PO.

Oversee the progress of initiatives, regularly reviewing their status with Scrum Masters and relevant Technical Tribe Leads.

Provide reporting on the RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status of projects, as well as updates on project risks and dependencies.

Maintain an appropriate resource and sourcing structure, ensuring that the teams possess the required skills and capabilities for initiative execution while striving for efficient and well-balanced team structures.

Monitor and manage the financial aspects of projects, including verifying the correct allocation of teams to each initiative, ensuring accurate application of rates and hours worked, and reviewing all budget requests before presenting them at the Change Forum.

Establish and lead the governance framework for the department's initiatives, ensuring effective decision-making processes and oversight.
