About the Role

We are working with a well-established construction and engineering company involved in the rehabilitation and modernization of a major public building in Cluj-Napoca.

The company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the full execution phase of this complex project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and at the required quality standards.

Role Overview

This is a site-based leadership role responsible for managing all execution activities, including planning, coordination, and control of resources, subcontractors, and project deliverables.

You will act as the main point of contact for the client and ensure smooth project delivery across all stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project execution plan
• Coordinate all site activities, including internal teams and subcontractors
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Oversee electrical and mechanical installation works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems)
• Monitor project progress (technical and financial) and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain direct communication with the client and project stakeholders
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legal standards
• Prepare progress reports and manage project documentation
• Lead final handover of the project

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Installations Engineering (or similar)
• Experience managing construction and installation projects
• Strong knowledge of site execution and subcontractor coordination
• Experience tracking budgets and project timelines
• Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good understanding of technical standards and regulations
• Driving license (Category B)
