Key Deliverables

Part Cp-Cpk for critical process and product specification more than 1.67 as per Customer Due Date

Responsibilities

• Establish capable and stable Processes within Customer tolerance time
• To study and evaluate new process for same type of product/part
• To design a new process
• To plan and procure new equipment for newly designed process
• To prepare layout for newly designed process
• Monitoring the existing process for cost and stability
• Identifying and monitoring critical controls of existing process for stability
• Study and evaluation of new process for same type of product/work
• Calculation of cost - capability of new process
• Gathering information for stability of new process
• Preparing templates for process selection
• Preparing P Diagram / FMEA / Controls for new process
• Development of new machine/ equipment / process as per control plan - with POKAYOKE
• Evaluation of actual results against predicted
• Fine tuning the process to achieve capability / stability.
• Establish the process by following PPAP.
• Monitoring the new process for cost and stability, develop alternate process

Knowledge

• Reading of part drawing- Engineering drawings
• Understanding of tolerances and dimensioning , fits
• Basic knowledge of process required for producing filters
• Basic knowledge of fixtures, materials  , cutting tools’
• Knowledge about the industrial automation and controls.
• TS 16949
• PFMEA / Control plan, correlation,
• SPC
• Heat treatment, surface treatment, leak testing
• Operations like blank, drawing, bending
• Process automation, principles used
• Assembly line setup for new machines

Qualification

BE/BTech (Mechanical)

Experience

 11-15 yrs in automobile sector
