JOB SUMMARY

As a psychologist supervisor at a leading hospital in Saudi Arabia is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of clinical psychologists, ensuring high-quality mental health care services are provided to patients. The primary goal of this role is to lead, support, and develop a team of psychologists, while also contributing to the hospital's overall mission and strategic objectives

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Supervise and mentor a team of clinical psychologists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance their clinical skills and overall performance.
• Oversee the coordination and scheduling of psychological services, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources and maintaining optimal patient care standards.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to psychologists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in the delivery of psychological interventions.
• Collaborate with the hospital's leadership and administrative team to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing psychological services, promoting best practices, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Provide direct clinical supervision to psychologists, including reviewing case presentations, treatment plans, and clinical interventions to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for patients.
• Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new psychologists, ensuring that the team maintains a high level of expertise and clinical proficiency.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment within the psychology department, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a commitment to the hospital's mission and values.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor of Psychology from a reputable educational institution
• Master of Psychology &/or Ph.D. in psychology from a reputable educational institution
• Licensure or certification as a Supervisor psychologist, with eligibility for registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

• +3 years of experience post certification.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a clinical psychology setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and external partners.
• Proficient in computer skills

Language

• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
