Our client is an international Tier One E commerce company, with HQ in China. Currently we are looking for public relation manager in Warszawa, Poland, the ideal candidate should hold local working permits, and speak fluent English, Polish and Chinese mandarin is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysing and providing assessment of relevant public policies and their implications to company’s business interests in Poland.
- He/she will also work with the Senior Director to manage the company’s public policy positions in Poland and across various domain areas.
- Work with the Senior Director and other relevant departments to develop and drive stakeholder engagement strategies, as well as take the lead in executing and managing policy engagements in Poland.
- Responsible for fostering strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and translating stakeholder and policy engagements into tangible commercial outcomes to advance company’s market access and to ensure the successful running of business operations in Poland.
- Plan, organize and manage various stakeholder engagement platforms in Poland, in support of the objective to expand and enhance our collaborations with key stakeholders from various backgrounds such as political/regulatory stakeholders, civil society, industry associations and other public arenas.
- Effectively work with various teams globally, such as the government relations and public relations teams in Europe,
- Exhibit a keen interest in and ability to comprehend the interconnections between politics, business, finance, sustainability, technology and innovation, and international relations.
Requirements:
Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, Law, Economics, Communications or related field.

- At least 8 years of working experience in government relations or public policy.
- Strong policy and regulatory network in Warsaw with a demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at the highest corporate/political levels to undertake advocacy work; strong network with local government offices in Wroclaw is a plus.
- Prior experience managing operational issues such as labour regulations and customs clearance would be a plus.
- Prior experience in e-commerce/marketplace sector would be definitely welcomed.
- Track record of effectively solving complex issues and delivering strong results while maintaining the highest standards.
- Keen interest to translate policy/regulatory engagements into tangible commercial outcomes.
- Willingness to travel across Poland regularly, particularly between Warsaw and Wroclaw.
- Strong proficiency in English and in Polish.
- Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
