Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 12–15 years of purchasing experience is mandatory. This must include extensive experience in Industrial/technical purchasing, Indirect category sourcing, and Subcontractor management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or Business is required. A Master's or MBA is highly preferred.
• Proven ability for strong leadership across multi-country teams and stakeholder management. Must have a solid understanding of manufacturing environments and supply chain operations.
• Expertise in Negotiation, supplier relationship management, and contract drafting is essential.
• Experience with ERP and purchasing platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the comprehensive MEA purchasing strategy for both indirect and direct categories.
• Performance & Optimization: Accountable for driving strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and cost optimization. Deliver annual productivity savings and working capital improvements.
• Team Management: Directly manage and develop the MEA Indirect Purchasing Team and the Egypt Technical Purchasing Team.
• Subcontractor Oversight: Identify, qualify, and manage manufacturing subcontractors in Egypt (e.g., plastic injection, assembly), ensuring continuity, quality, and compliance with CSR group requirements.
• Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with global sourcing standards and apply Group Purchasing policy. Mitigate supply chain risk through diversification and structured evaluations.
