Purchasing Manager required must have previous experience from working in the hospitality / hotel industry and have a great network of supplier contracts!

Duties include and not limited to:

• Liaising with dept heads to determine their product and service needs
• Performing all purchasing activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
• Continuously comparing and negotiating with all suppliers in order to get the best possible prices.
• Communicating with the CFO and FC in order to gain approval for purchasing contracts with new vendors or new supplies.
• Maintaining a network of professional contacts in order to discover new opportunities for good deals and orders.
• Identifying areas for improvement
• Ensuring all suppliers and vendors are paid according to our company guidelines.
• Developing strong relationships with stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business
• Creating departmental policies and procedures and update them regularly.
• Maintaining excellent communication with all relevant managers and departments.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Purchasing management (Masters Highly Desired)
• Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions
