Role details:
- Title / Designation: Python Automation Lead
- Location: Bengaluru
- Work mode: Hybrid
- Work timings: 1 PM TO 10 PM
Role & responsibilities:
- Lead a small automation team and mentor members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Design, implement, and maintain Python-based test automation scripts and frameworks (Pytest/unittest).
- Analyze automation execution failures in CI/CD systems and provide insights to improve software quality.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to resolve blockers and proactively suggest process improvements.
- Understand applications/domains end-to-end and identify opportunities to enhance product quality through automation.
Candidate requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in QA and automation testing with strong Python programming and OOP knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with web and mobile UI automation using Selenium/Appium and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems (Git), test management, and bug tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills, with ownership and accountability.
- Ability to lead a team, mentor juniors, communicate effectively with clients, and work with US-based teams.
