We are a strong team of professionals with activities ranging from embedded video perception, using machine learning and 3D computer vision algorithms, core technology for assisted and automated driving (oriented towards various mobile platforms such as cars, motorcycles, trains, etc.), up to data engineering and cloud based solutions. We provide semantics to data using latest machine learning algorithms and knowledge graphs and we facilitate the connectivity of data from vehicles to the cloud through online smart data selection. Since computer vision and machine learning algorithms require a lot of computational power, another key part of an embedded video perception product is the ability to fit all these algorithms inside an embedded platform, through diverse parallelization and optimization schemes.
What you do:
You may choose one of the following topis
1. Data engineering:
- You will develop applications for driver assistance and automated driving for data and storage management
- You will develop solutions for smart, scalable, reusable and reliable data processing (ETL) in Big Data frameworks
- You will apply and develop statistical and machine learning methods to be used data driven applications
2. Embedded Deep Learning:
- You will contribute to the design of an automated deep learning deployment solution on several hardware platforms
- You will deploy and optimize deep learning models on specialized hardware accelerators for video-based driver assistance systems and automated driving
- You will derive performance evaluations of the optimized deep learning models
- You will validate and evaluate your results using hardware simulation solutions and diverse hardware targets (both development and production platforms).
- You will design and automatically generate C/C++ code for integration of the optimized deep learning models in the target production platforms
Qualifications
Who you are:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Automation and Industrial Informatics, Electronics and Telecommunications or comparable
- You have solid experience in OOP based Python Software Development
- You have experience with C/C++ programming
- You have a good algorithms, data structures and software design background
- You have experience with at least one versioning system (Git, SVN), with code review methods, software documentation, task management and tracking (e.g.: Jira)
- You have experience with automation of flows and/or machine learning methods and tools
We would also appreciate if:
- You have computer vision, image processing, machine learning, deep learning or numerical methods experience
- You have good code design skills and you place emphasis on code quality
- You have domain knowledge of automotive industry
- You have knowledge of virtualization technologies like Docker and/or Kubernetes
- You have experience in working with cloud technologies (like Azure)
- You have parallel processing know-how
- Data engineering: You have some experience with scheduling and monitoring of workflows, in technologies like Apache Airflow
