Responsibilities

Develop new automated test cases using python/ansible to support VMWare Cloud Foundation deployment and management, depending on customer needs
Ensure maintenance software releases are stable and delivered in the field with proper quality,
Work closely with SW team to reproduce the issues found on customer side
Create the test environment in the lab to reproduce and then to validate different code fixes received from SW team
Create and execute the test plans needed to validate the bug fixes or various feature enhancements
Run, debug and update the automated scripts during regression phase
Report code defects with a detailed description and track them through their entire life cycle

Skills

Must have

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Experience working with Python OR Ansible
Experience in using test automation frameworks ,designing and writing test automation scrips
Good knowledge of L2 Switching/L3 Routing Networking protocols
Excellent written and oral communications and teaming skills
Excellent hardware and software debugging skills

Nice to have

Experience with writing scripts/Linux
Experience with Selenium/ Cucumber
