JOB TITLE: QA ENGINEER LOCATION: SPAIN
THE PROJECT
Our client is a multinational company that provides financial services. This enterprise is focused on leading the money transfer market by giving clients the best conditions and services.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a QA Engineer who will have a role of test automation. Your main objective is to test technological solutions and ensure their proper functioning. It carries out specific test procedures to identify where a failure is occurring and propose a possible solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the needed tests in an automated manner to support the realisation of the features requested by our business areas.
- Increase the % of testing coverage and provide a full suite of tests that decrease the risk of errors in production.
- Contribute with the rest of the team to identify and resolve all the errors found prior to a release.
- Ensure all the incidents filed end with a test to avoid them happening again.
- Contribute to the automation framework definition and keep updated.
- Engage with the team and commit on the delivery of new functionalities.
REQUIREMENTS
- You are experienced in testing automation of new applications and existing software enhancements to ensure they meet design specifications.
- More specifically you can talk about cucumber, Selenium Webdriver, SOAP UI or any other QA tool and you can locate it in the stack of QA tools available at present.
- You have also developed performance tests. You would have support for defining the right way of doing it, but ideally you would deliver developments that test the performance of other developments.
- Therefore, you are familiar with programming. You know Java and maybe some other languages and you know how to test them.
- You have worked on a regression pack and E2E tests and you can develop automated tests that identify broken functionality in a new release.
- You are familiar with reporting tools for the tests.
- You are familiar with GIT and automation tools like Jenkins. Maven is a plus and JMeter is a double plus. Did you hear about locust? What do you think about it?
- You are familiar with Jira and Confluence and you can use effectively written communication.
- You have a degree in engineering or computers science. This is not a must, but we like people that can use what they learnt in the past.
