Primary Responsibility -Serve as QA Head and manage 7-10 team members
Industry  - BFSI with exposure to distribution products

Academic background
B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization + Agile Certified (added advantage)

Total 6+ Years

Desired Skills

• 6+ years of working experience with business processes, and planning for functional testing, the impact analysis of changes, and regression testing.
• Exposure to major applications in any financial area –Capital Market, Banking, Insurance, Mutual Funds and any other similar Financial Services.
• Managing and testing complex software as a team manager of a team of 5+ members.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, and QA processes. Any Industry Standard Testing Certification (Test Management) – will be preferred 

Job description 

• Lead and manage the QA Competency of the team which comprises Test Leads and Testers
• Provide guidance and training in QA best practices
• Participate and contribute in all aspects of the project life-cycle from requirement analysis to release and maintenance support.
• Prepare traceability matrix, test plans, and test strategies for all projects
• Prepare and share test reports with management and the team
• Handle recruitment, skill-building, and hands-on mentoring for the Team
• Hands-on mentoring for the Team on activities
• Review and provide input on Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents for the Indian capital market application.
• Conduct independent system testing of the application, understanding the Indian capital market business process and the Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
• Review test cases including expected outputs from the Business Requirements and Functional coverage, to emulate user interaction in the production environment
• Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented, and fixed and help in UAT support to users
• Responsible for capacity planning and testing assignments among the teams
• Reporting testing status with respect to both enhancements and testing as part of weekly status calls.
