Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive continuous improvement, daily releases and test automation efforts.
- Work to grow team through recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Work directly with Department Heads to align with department and organization goals. Work closely with product owners and leads to fit in necessary resourcing based on project timelines.
- Provide quality reporting as needed/upon request as to the status of all overseen projects and employees
- Motivate employees and develop new ideas for process improvement.
- Work with vendors on the QA and QC efforts for multiple product development teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar customer-centric technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience managing a team of 5+ professionals.
- Understanding standards such as CMMI and ISO.
- Understanding of QA tools like Jira, X-ray (test case management system) or Charles Proxy experience
- Understanding risks, regulations, and compliances on B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) business
