JOB TITLE: QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER           LOCATION: SPAIN 

THE PROJECT

Our client is one of the world’s leading InsurTech that is reinventing insurance at scale. They are revolutionizing insurance by empowering the customer and delivering personalized experiences, driven by data. They are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their QA team. 

THE ROLE

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will work primarely with test automation. You will be working with a cross functional team of product managers and developers on a range of different enterprise SaaS tools and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve scalable, reliable and capable software delivery.
• Improve team efficiency and reduce risks on software delivery through proposed tools and processes.
• Find solutions to testing issues by working with engineers and the test helpdesk.
• Champion the quality and quality assurance process in the sprint in order to maintain the quality of our Platform and the required software releases.
• Expand and develop test automation to reduce manual testing.
• Effective communication with developers, QA, support team and product.
• Comfort working remotely, and effective collaboration with the rest of the team through digital channels.
• Writing effective bug and test reports with full information and root cause analysis where possible and tracking the ticket to closure.
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment with the ability to change focus and priorities with market demands and changing requirements.
• Build a strong understanding of our products, architecture and data flow.
• Bring areas of concern to the surface in a concise, clear and solution-focused manner.
• Take ownership of the testing activities in the project for automation and manual testing

REQUIREMENTS

• Testing automation of new applications and existing software enhancements to meet design specification
• Experience with Cucumebr , Selenium, Webdriver, SOAP UI - any QA tool 
• Experience in developing performace test- able to deliver developments that test the performance of other developments. 
• Experience with Java or other language. 
• Worked with E2E tests and develop automated tests that identify broken functionality in a new realese
• Familiar with GIT and other automation tools such as Jenkins
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence
• Degree in Engineering and computer science 
• English Proficency
