Criteria

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15 years’ experience related to structural steel fabrication- (Oil & Gas projects)

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the entire QC/ QA works of Structural, Steel fabrication and Erection Works by identifying the challenges and recommending corrective measures.
• Ensure close supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with SLAs & contract documents archived for future reference
• Maintained the tracking and filing of all quality records.
• Aware of Quality certifications includes AISC certification, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, EN 1090-1, ASME U stamp and ISO 9001.
• Worked closely with the Safety team to monitor the Contractors safety arrangements, responded promptly for the concerns raised
• Anchor weekly, monthly, and other progress & technical meetings held at the site and workshop related to Quality Management.
• Inspected the incoming material and products according to relevant technical documents and standards
• Represented company on all quality audits, evaluated all suppliers meet the requirements, monitor the QC Inspection personnel.
• Played a key role in selecting the samples of raw materials and third-party NDT inspection.
• Prepare the project quality plan, inspection & test plan, fabrication procedure, NDT plan based on the scope of work, surface preparation & painting procedures.
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of company.
• Coordinate with vendors outside contractors, scope, schedule, and budget
• Assisted with the maintenance of monitoring programs, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers
• Analyze the project goal and scope definition, capital cost, project planning, and scheduling
• Develop the welding procedures as per the project specifications, implemented the processes mainly Flux cored arc welding, shielded metal arc welding and Sub merged arc welding Implementation & utilization of computers in inspection and QA / QC activities for recording and producing reports
