A well known food retailer is seeking a Quality Executive to join their team! The role is a Hybrid (2 days office , 3 days home) Offices based North West London

Supporting your manager you will be ensuring , food and product safety stage gates are met for product launches.

Ensuring all suppliers meet the requirements of Climate, Environment and Sourcing

You will be responsible for communicating the Responsible retailing Strategy policies to the business, which focus on Climate, Environment and Sourcing, ensuring that the web pages are kept up to date, assist with the implementation of policies, working on the trading initiatives and supporting the quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will have :

· Relevant degree or equivalent and/or food technical qualifications (Food Science, Food Technology)

· minimum 1 year experience working with food and associated non-food

· Demonstrable supplier engagement and visits to deliver improvements history

· HACCP qualification

· TACCP qualification with experience of developing and managing an emerging (food fraud) risk system (desired)

· Communication and liaison with retail associations, government bodies and other external bodies.

· Understands WRAP UK plastics pact targets and GHG emissions reporting requirements

· Must also have Excellent working knowledge of all MS Offices Packages

Salary £30,000 - £32,000 plus 10% bonus
